Debbie Wasserman Schultz's Aide Arrested!

Imran Awan, an IT administrator for Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was arrested at Dulles Airport while trying to flee the country to Pakistan.

Awan who is Schultz’s top information technology (IT) aide was arrested Monday. After wiring $283,000 to Pakistan he was stopped at the airport trying to board a flight out of the country to Pakistan. He had just been fired yesterday, but he had been under investigation for a number of months and was still on Debbie's payroll.

The authorities had seized smashed hard drives from his home earlier in connection with a bank fraud case in which he had doubled billed the government and also being a criminal suspect in a cyber security probe that alleges he accessed congressional computers without permission. It was reported that he made multiple attempts to have the drives returned untouched.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz also had made many attempts to have the drives returned before the investigation was finished. Some say her attempts seemed 'desperate'. She was caught on tape at a hearing warning a police chief of  'consequences' if he did not return the drives.

The Daily Caller News Foundation’s investigative team did the first reporting of the arrest and attempt to flee.

The story has been largely ignored by the media and the Democrats.

McDaniel said during a Fox Business Network interview
[Wasserman Schultz] kept him on her staff. He was a taxpayer-funded government employee until yesterday when she finally fired him". “We need to figure out why he’s under criminal investigation and we’re not hearing that across the country right now.
